TFDP bases its work on the standards established by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Declaration on the Right to Development, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international human rights instruments. |

Integrated Mindanaoan Association for Natives (IMAN) |
IMAN was organized in 1985 with 25 members based in Layug, Pagalungan, Maguindanao. For 12 years, the organization worked with the people in the community as volunteers for peace and development.
When war broke out in Central Mindanao in 2000, IMAN worked with the disaster team in Pikit and of the Diocese of Kidapawan. It participated in the distribution of relief operations to evacuation centers and in interfaith dialogues and in networking with other peace workers in Mindanao . It has established alliances with Ulama Pastor Priest Forum (UPPF), Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society (CBCS), Inter Religious Dialogue (IRD), and with other peace advocates in Mindanao . IMAN's work is focused on implementing programs on peace education and capability building towards peace and development and peace building approaches in the local Moro communities. |
